Free ACT PracticeTests and Resources!!
Test your knowledge with free prep from the makers of the ACT test.
Get your game on with the ACT practice quiz! Answer keys are provided at the end of quiz. Go to their website to learn more.

Power Prep ACT Test Prep Class
This class includes practical and relevant information on how to increase your ACT score. The workshop covers what will be on the test and how to master test-taking techniques. JCCC STEM Scholarship
This is a perfect scholarship for students, especially incoming freshman, that have an interest in STEM fields (Biological Services, Physical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Computer and Informational Sciences, Geosciences and Engineering) and pursuing a future transfer to a 4-year university after JCCC.  Go to jccc.edu/stemscholarship to apply


​MV NEXT STEP EVENTS

This October, juniors and seniors will have an opportunity to meet with representatives from 2 and 4 year colleges, as well as career, trade and military representatives to discuss next steps. The events will be held during seminar on October 10th October 17th October 24th October 31st.

WATER ONE INTERNSHIPS  

WaterOne offers real world opportunities for students enrolled in post-secondary education.  Our internships range from field services, engineering, human resources, and more.  These are great ways to gain experience in a career path or organization you are interested in.  Internships offered:  Human Resources, Legal, Communications, Facility Engineering, Fire Hydrant Auditor, Fleet Mechanic, GIS Technician, Grounds Maintenance, Meter Maintenance, and more!  To learn more go to waterone.org/careers


RUDD SCHOLARSHIPS

2025 RUDD Scholarship - This is a 4-year full ride scholarship given out by the RUDD Foundation (includes tuition and fees - books, supplies, room, and board). Scholarship Eligibility:  Must have a cumulative, unweighted high school GPA of 3.0 or above; Graduating high school in 2025 and will enroll full-time in the fall; Demonstrate financial need (Pell-eligible); Must be a Kansas resident and qualify for in state tuition; Must be admitted and will attend Emporia State, Fort Hays State, K-State, or Wichita State Application open from October 1st to December 1st 2024.

JCCC STEM Scholars Program

If you are interested in STEM fields, this program may be of beneficial to you. You may be eligible if you are working towards an associate of science degree in these STEM fields: Biological Sciences; Physical Sciences; Mathematical Sciences; Computer or Information Sciences; Geosciences; Engineering.  Recipients are eligible for up to $10,000 a year for two years at JCCC in addition to federal aid or other earned scholarships. Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation Scholarships

Each year, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation awards 150 college scholarships worth $20,000 to high school students across the United States through the Coca-Cola Scholars Program. Students need a 3.0 GPA and to complete an online application that requires no essays, no recommendations, and no transcripts. Deadline is September 30, 2024 by 5 pm Eastern. ​Wichita State University Distinguished Scholarship Invitational (DSI)

This fall Wichita State University will be offering high school seniors the chance to compete in the DSI. The DSI is one of the premier scholarship competitions in the country, awarding THREE $64,000 scholarships to attend Wichita State in the fall of 2025. The DSI application is due by 11:59 pm on November 10th. For more information look here.
